ABYSS — CHAPTER 1 Page 8 — The Assassin’s Mission Panel 1 — The Missing Book Inside a vast, dark throne room, the mysterious ruler of the Abyss sits on a towering black throne. His face remains hidden in deep shadow. Black stone pillars and dim red lanterns surround him. A frightened guard kneels before the throne. Guard: “My lord! The book from the forbidden archive is missing!” Panel 2 — The Ruler’s Fury Close-up of the ruler’s hand gripping the throne’s armrest tightly. His face remains mostly concealed, but his visible eyes burn with anger. Ruler: “Someone has discovered our secret…” Panel 3 — The Deadly Order The ruler leans forward on his throne, his face still hidden in shadow. The guard bows lower. Ruler: “Send the most dangerous assassin in the Abyss. Find the person who took that book.” Ruler: “Do not let them reveal the truth.” Panel 4 — Introducing the Assassin In a dark stone chamber, introduce a tall, lean assassin with long, straight charcoal-black hair, narrow crimson eyes, and a black mask covering the lower half of their face. The assassin wears a fitted, entirely black combat outfit, black gloves, dark trousers, black boots, and a long black hooded cloak. A single dark-metal sword hangs at their waist.
