weapon, Novadroxsia, exists in two living configurations. In its resting state it is a twin-bladed greatsword with a blade extending from each end of a single central grip. One blade is perfectly smooth and elegant. The opposite blade is brutally jagged like fractured Hollow bone. Upon command, the weapon separates into two immense greatswords. The pommels remain connected by a living molten Hell chain carrying Quincy Reishi through every link. The chain behaves like another limb. It coils. It hunts. It recalls thrown weapons. It binds enemies. It changes direction mid-flight. Sometimes the swords appear to fight independently before returning to her hands. Her presence is almost silent. Instead of roaring Reiatsu, the air becomes unnaturally still. Golden spider lily petals drift upward. Blue particles flow backward against gravity. Crimson chains briefly appear inside shadows. People feel as though invisible armor has been placed upon their bodies, becoming heavier with every heartbeat. She never raises her voice. She speaks gently. Every sentence sounds like a final judgment. She believes evolution is the purest form of justice. Life exists to become something greater. Anything refusing to evolve eventually deserves extinction. Despite this philosophy, she cannot destroy those still sincerely struggling to grow. That contradiction is her greatest weakness. She views her wielder neither as master nor servant. Only as the organism destined to evolve alongside her. Until absolute synchronization is achieved, she constantly challenges the wielder through impossible trials inside her Inner World, forcing growth through adaptation rather than simple training. Her final words before granting Bankai are always the same: “A sword that never changes is only steel. A soul that never changes is already dead.”
In the Present Day… Here in the cosmos, the Saints took control and for 1,000 years they have ruled. But now there are only 50. These gods are ruling a dying reality, hanging, clinging to existence like fading embers in the dark. Today that becomes evermore the truth, as the remaining life roaming worlds are becoming no more. Even the stars are dying. The only reminisce of the past left are destroyed vessels, weapons and faces of terror frozen in time. Thus times are bleak. Especially for those who are trying to do no more than stay away and live in peace… On a frost-covered fringe world. Smoke spirals into the sky as twisted ships hover overhead, their hulls adorned with screaming faces and chained corpses. The Legion has come. Cruel Goblins leap from the ships, green, sharp and shrieking. The harsh Orcs follow. The snow is trampled into mud and blood. A woman clutches her child, slipping through the chaos. Her breath is mist. Her feet are bare. Behind her, fire consumes their home. A Legion chieftain then steps down from a skiff. Massive, towering, his voice booms like thunder through the snowstorm. Burr’tak. BURR’TAK: (raising club) Burn the village! Take the strong—kill the weak! The games must commence as planned!
Burr’tak stares down at the giant, there is a pause and then he bursts out in laughter. With nervous glances, the orcs and goblins are unsure whether or not to laugh. BURR’TAK: Armed and ready? Hmmmm. Boyz! What we got ourselves here is not a mighty warrior or beast, but a robot… ORC: A robot!? GOBLIN: A coward from afar behind a computer! BURR’TAK: Yessssss… I will say that there is incredible strength in those arms, and there is speed and grace in those legs. Blinding. But it doesn’t matter, because it’s not enough! These mechanisms are useless against us! Try them if you wish! But I am Burr’takk The Terrible! The Orcs and Goblins begin to chant the name of their mighty chieftain… ORCS & GOBLINS: Burr’tak! Burr’tak, Burr’tak! BURR’TAK: I am a conqueror, a slayer of ogres, warriors and even dragons! Far bigger than this contraption! Burr’tak then draws out his clubs, surging with lighting as he begins to boast. BURR’TAK: Hear me out, inventor! I will destroy your machine! And when we find you, and we will! I’ll rip the flesh from your bones and feed on your entrails. It will be beautiful!
